Daring Cardmakers - Topaz

It's the start of yet another new month so that means our monthly birthstone Dare is all set over on Daring Cardmakers.

We've also got a couple of announcements to make the first one being that Samm our lovely Guest Designer for the month of October has agreed to join us full time and we have a new Guest Designer for November AND December which is the lovely Saskia. A huge welcome to you both - I know we're all looking forward to working with you and having your lovely creations adorning the blog.

So onto the birthstone for November, which is:-

TOPAZ
Found in places such as Brazil, Nigeria and Sri Lanka, the Topaz comes in a variety of colours. Probably the most widely known are light blue and tawny-yellow but there are several other colours of topaz too. It's associated with constancy, loyalty, faithfulness and friendship.

Here's my card:-

Papers - Doodlebug and BoBunny
Martha Stewart Border Punch
Sentiment - Hero Arts
Stampin' Up - Circle and Scallop Circle Punches

I love how you've used both the light blue and the yellow shades for this, they work together quite wonderfully

  6. Wow, this is beautiful, what a totally different image. At first I thought it was a cheese grater and I am still not sure but looks really good.
