A royal or patriotic theme to it!

You could choose anything from fairytale princesses to vintage-ware à la all the (sometimes kitschy) memorabilia that has been on offer in various retail outlets throughout the land.

I'm getting really excited about the Wedding and can't wait to see the dress - here's wishing them a long and happy marriage.

Daring Cardmakers - Spring Fling

First of all I'd like to say a huge thank you to all of you who left me Get Well wishes - you're such a caring bunch! I'm starting to feel better now - I've still got the cough but the pain in the head has all but gone thank goodness.

I can't believe a whole week has flown by and we're back to Friday and ready for this week's Dare over at Daring Cardmakers.

This week we want to see your Spring or Easter inspired cards.

You could go with classic Spring colours, Easter bunnies and chicks or, for extra flair, why not literally add some spring with wire embellishments, hinges, and some dimensional magic!

I opted to go with the Spring in the bunny's jump and the Easter wishes!

Tres Chic

I've been feeling pretty crap the last few days with a really bad cough which is making my head feel like it's going to explode - it's very painful. So I went to the Doctors today and I've got Bronchitis - hopefully the antibiotics will start to kick in soon!

So this is just a quick post to show you the cards I've made with this month's fabulous Tres Chic Project of the Month Kit from Craftwork Cards:-

Daring Cardmakers - Draw a Bird Day

It's Lythan's turn to set the Dare this week over at Daring Cardmakers and after a bit of detective work this is what she's come up with:-

Did you know that April 8th is officially draw a bird day? Me neither until I was stuck for a dare and looked up the significance of April 8th. So let's give it a go!

As I used a Stamp and Paper Pieced the bird image I had to have some kind of 'hand drawing' on my card so decided to hand draw the black and white circle borders.

Kathy's Waffle Sketch File - April 2011

This is the sketch for the month of April over at Kathy's Waffle Sketch File - we were AWOL in March so apologies for that - hopefully things will be back to normal from now on. We'd love it if you'd join in with us this month as there's so many ways you could interpret this wonderful sketch. What would you do?

I've had this lily flower for ages in my stash so it was great to find a use for it at last. It's held together with a lovely Dovecraft Charm Brad.

Papers are by Basic Grey (Euphoria) , Crate Paper and Bazzill Card Stock.

I've used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.

Sentiment Stamp is by Stampin' Up.

Daring Cardmakers - Daisies and Sweet Peas for April

It's Friday and the first one of the month so that means it's time again for our Flowers for the Month Dare over at Daring Cardmakers. The flowers for April are:-
